Nathan loves his puppy stuffed animal, a dog we named Ralphie Dog. Whenever Nathan is whining or having a grumpy day, I say, “Nathan, where’s Ralphie Dog?” and he will go find his dog and hug with with such fierceness that if the poor thing was real, it would be suffocated. Or every bone in its body would be crushed. (Good thing he doesn’t love our cats that much!) In fact, he loves his doggy so much that he goes around hugging it most of the day.
His other favorite stuffed animal is his Pooh Bear, especially when he’s teething. In fact, you can see his trusty Pooh Bear (both of them, even though the larger of the two is partially cut out of the picture) in the first two pictures.
Oh, and by the way… check out how much Nathan’s hair is growing in the back! He doesn’t have much on the sides, but the back and and top are starting to finally get some length. It reminds me of something that we already talked about… and every time I think about it, I have to suppress a giggle. (It’s not quite there yet, that-which-we-talked-about, but it will be soon… it’s certainly in the making.)
My goddaughter is attached to a blue puppy, make that a very dirty grimy gross disgusting stinky stuffed puppy. They bought a second one for back up. But she smells the yucky one and rubs his tail and won’t take the clean one. We assume that it has built up her immune system because when the rest of the family gets sick, she’s fine!

Now THAT is funny!! What a hilarious mental image! What’s really funny is that she prefers the dirty one to the clean one! LOL!
