An unlikely snack

Well, Nathan has been “grounded” from crayons for the next few days. (Grounded is in quotes because how can you really ground a 22-month old?) IĀ gave Nathan a sheet of paper and a crayon to color with. I turned my head for three seconds, and when I looked back over, the crayon was gone. Upon closer inspection, I could see that the crayon didn’t actually disappear… remnants of it were left on Nathan’s cheeks and chin. HE HAD EATEN IT. Just popped it in his mouth like it was a cookie and he ATE IT. PAPER AND ALL.

Why? Why would you eat a crayon? I mean, it can’t possibly taste good. Yet for whatever reason, Nathan decided to turn his crayon into a snack. Kids can be crazy sometimes!
