So apparently, if you feed your kid a lot of carrots and orange vegetables, you’ll turn them orange.

I did not find this out until it was too late. A few weeks ago, I had turned Nathan orange. His entire body had this orange-yellowish hue, especially his nose, his palms, and the soles of his feet. When we saw his pediatrician, she confirmed that a lot of foods high in carotene (such as carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes) can do this. I have since cut back on the amount of orange veggies that I feed him, and Nathan is no longer orange.

I had no idea carrots could do that! I mean, you don’t turn pink or red from eating large amounts of watermelon, ya know?
