life with a new baby
Nathan the Destroyer
This is what happens when I forget to put the diapers out of Nathan’s reach. He flings them all over the room, every single time. And he knows he’s not supposed to… hence the “I’m sorry, Mama” look on his face.

So today, Nathan and I had to run to the store. When I was in the check-out line, I happened to look down at the nice black shirt I was wearing and noticed something was on it. Then I remembered Nathan wiping his face on me as I tried to get him into the car. More >

Nathan and I went to the store today. He was very well-behaved for someone who’s not even three yet. And by that I mean there was no screaming, meltdowns, or throwing objects. His inquisitive little fingers only touched a few things and he only yanked himself away from me twice. He can’t get far… he More >

Racing! I can’t help but smile every time I look at this picture. He’s just so adorable with his curly hair and legs that don’t reach the pedals. It won’t be long before he can play this for real without having to sit in his daddy’s lap. (Before I took the picture, he sat in More >

He knows the alphabet, uppercase and lowercase, so we are working on what each letter sounds like and which words start with that letter. When we learn about the letter “B,” for example, I’ll More >
Hi, God!

Nathan looked up at the sky and said, “Hi, God! I love you! How are you?” as he waved his hand. “You talking to God?” I asked. “Yeah, God’s in the clouds,” he replied. Then he put both hands on my face, tilted my head up towards the sky and said, “Say hi God!” I’m More >

Lately, our cat Meeper has been antagonizing one of our other cats, Kayli. Meeper has been trying to “dominate” her, which is odd because he’s neutered. (All our cats are fixed.) At any rate, whenever he tries to be dominant, he makes this annoying loud meowing sound, and I’m always harping on him for his More >
