Ahhh Spring, you are missed

Oh you guys, I am SO ready for Spring to get here!! It’s been such a crazy winter this year with seemingly colder temperatures and definitely more snow days than usual. The past couple weeks have spit out a few milder days here and there, a tantalizing taste of what Spring will bring, and now that I have had that taste, I am REALLY getting antsy for some warmer weather! And so is Nathan. He is totally diggin’ running around outside on the days we’ve had some sun. He’s getting to that age where he will enjoy stuff like amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, etc., so this upcoming year will be a lot of fun. Can you believe he’s almost TWO years old?? I can’t. I just can’t!!

And if you can’t tell, the little snowsuit Nathan is wearing is from the late ’70′s… it used to be Paul’s when he was Nathan’s age. There is something really special about Nathan wearing stuff that his daddy used to wear… almost as if the past and the present have been folded together and for one moment, they merge. I am so very glad and thankful that Paul’s mom saved (and then passed down!) her favorite items from Paul’s childhood.
SNOW!

As you guys know by now, we love the snow. We don’t really get that much here in Tennessee, so when the forecast calls for snow, everyone rushes out and buys up all the milk and bread (because you know death is imminent if you don’t.) And then we play in the snow. And that’s what we did today; we played in the snow. I’ll post some pictures in the next couple days or so.
In the meantime, remember a couple days ago when I took Nathan outside while it was flurrying? Well, here’s some really cute pictures to go along with that video.
