Wow. Something really needs to be done about America’s prescription drug problem. Too many lives are being destroyed unnecessarily. I don’t know what the right answer is… but there’s got to be something that can be done. At this point, shouldn’t we be willing to try anything if it can stop this madness?
Here’s an interesting article about a potential correlation between nearsightedness and lack of outdoor activity. Something to think about… especially in today’s age in which video games and computer chat rooms take precedence over our children playing outside.
Yesterday, Nathan had some sweet peas for lunch. When I handed him the bowl, he peered inside and said, “A ball! A ball!” and delicately plucked out a pea with his thumb and index finger. And then? He popped that pea in his mouth and said, “Mmmmmmm. Good ball.”
