After Nathan awoke this morning, I fed him, changed his diaper and his clothes, tickled his feet, and then we played with his exersaucer and other toys until it was time to eat again. After that, we watched an episode of Blue’s Clues together then went outside, sat on our porch swing, and enjoyed some sunshine while I diligently taught him new words.
He’s still confused about the human vocabulary, though.
We hung out together for the rest of the day with Daddy until it was bedtime, then I read him his favorite story- Paddington Cleans Up. I sang a couple of songs to him and tucked him into bed.
It was a nice day. Uneventful. Yet still good.
I love holding and cuddling him, teaching him new things, and watching him grow and learn. Every day, I look forward to the next day and the new things Nathan will show me.
